Gordon's Blog
I’m just back from school camp, and I can honestly say, that it’s in these situations I feel most alive.
120 P7s at camp – woohoo! I was with a group of 12 of them during the day, and 12 at night – It’s always great to get to know them in a new place – and to a depth that you can only hope for after years of working with them in other contexts.
The other staff were a laugh – although its always a challenge working with a group of teachers with a particular ‘group culture’ that exists before the week – this year, this was a little more unsettled because we had local primary staff with us alongside secondary teachers.
Highlights included some real quality time with young people and adults (hospital twice in the week!), good fun activities, and the buzz of being around people so much.
It’s a bit disturbing to think, but I hope heaven is a bit like this, but perhaps without lots of the aspects that were too frustrating to blog about!
Im not convinced. Do I look like ANY of these?!?

well, its been an interesting few weeks. It’s been mad, in fact.
I seem to have spent so long dashing around and working long days trying to fit everything in.
In the middle of it all, God has been typically awesome… so I thought i should ‘count my blessings’ a bit more on here!
There’s loads more… coming soon ;-)
My name is Gordon Rouse, and this is my blog. You might find something interesting... chances are you won't! But hey, there needs to be something here... so why not a few random thoughts?
